WIBCO Construction is now Kilawna Builders Ltd (KBL), as of April 6, 2023. The new name is based on kiɁlawnaɁ (grizzly bear). The company honours the land and our partnerships. KBL values taking projects from concept to completion using pillars of knowledge, experience, customer service, communication, and quality workmanship.
The company was proud to receive two prestigious industry awards from the Southern Interior Construction Association. The awards were for the FNFA Executive Office Project for the best in commercial renovation and office categories.
Kilawna Builders completed the Spland Road Remediation project for Ntityix Development and Hungerford Properties in late April 2023. The project was completed within a week of the original schedule and 12% under budget. The project was showcased to the community in May. We provided the customer with a high-quality product in an organized, professional manner.
The company completed a tenant improvement project for WFN at the Lindley Building. The renovation included selective demolition and the construction of new office space for staff. This was the first project under the supervision of Chad Paul (WFN). We also recently completed a project for the Sncewips Heritage Museum that included the supply and installation of “Milas Wall Panels” that allow the customer to showcase their art.
Kilawna Builders is currently building a new custom home for a family in the Glenrosa neighbourhood and have recently mobilized on site for the FNFA Main Floor Tenant Improvement Project. We are anticipating an active and productive Summer, so be sure to follow us.
